This is the very first crew shirt design given out. The logo is the earliest created in late 1972 according to Raymond Tabano. They later changed the logo in late 1973 to the one you see on “Get Your Wings”. Kelly Kelleher (original 70’s road Manager), told me they made these in different colors and were all 1 of a kind. Never sold to the public he states “When we opened for Mott The Hoople, I gave Phil & Richie – several each. They would wear them on tour.. good advertising..” (Thanks to Kelly & Raymond for the info much appreciated!)
